My ideal Job =D

Hiii!!
Well in this session i have to write about my ideal job, but since in veterinary we have so many kinds of job, it's very difficult to decide for one. I thought some as minor clinic, but i think it must be boring just see dogs and cats, then i thought in major clinic, i do really love horses! so do not let this job out completely, but there's one thing i love most, the
exotic animals!

The best job i could choose it's work in a
nature reserve as “Las Chinchillas" in Chile, with this kind of job you could see all kind of animals but in his wild state, without the intervention of the human in his everyday life, for me the hours it doesn't matter because being there would be like a camping, but always taking care of animals. Also it would be more awesome if I could work not only in that natural reserve, but also travel and know others like in South Africa, Australia, etc. And the boss,  he may love animals just like me so, I don’t think  we fight or I hate him so much,  only if he doesn’t let me travel I will be very upset.

Well that would be my ideal job, i hope you enjoyed reading. See you

Forensic the best subject!

Hi guys!
Today i like to told you about my favourite subject Forensic Medicine!
This class is an elective, i go on Fridays between 2:30 and 5, and it's about  all the necessary topics to talk about the health and also the death of an animal, like  animal wellfare and  the laws that criminalize animal abuse. Ussually tha class is made by a guest, first it comes an expert in legal medicine, then an ethologist, also a lawyer, and tomorrow is an expert. But first of all, we have to present a case, the teacher gave us a forensic case , this one with a few  information and we must discover what happened.
The reasons of why i like it so much. One, because we review and see what we want more applied , and we have to make findings on animal diseases and use all the matter pass. And two, we do the  practical part, like  seeking details and draw conclusions at the place where things happened, just as shown in CSI!!!
I really enjoy every class.
See you next time. Bye!

The person i admire

Actually I never really thought to admire someone, until this blog makes me  think about it, but if there was someone Aleen Isobel Cust would be, because she was Britain and Ireland first woman vet.
Aleen Isobel Cust (1868–1937) was the first female veterinary surgeon to practice in the British Isles. She completed her veterinary studies at the Veterinary College in Edinburgh in 1897 but, was denied permission to sit the final examination. Though denied a licence by her college she practiced in Athleague with local vet William Byrne. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London did not recognize her right to practice in her own right in the Britain until 1922. This followed the enactment of the Sex Disqualification Act. She died in Jamaica on 29 January 1937
I really like this woman, because she was the first, who don’t care what other people would said about her, and go for the things she want on life, even when her college denied her licence, she still go on and keep learning, her passion for the vet was so much, she was able to change law!!
I think it’s a great example to follow in life.

Veterinary, the profession i chose.

Hi!.Today i'm gonna let you know about the career i like and why i'm studing this one.
Since i have memory i love the dogs, but no only dogs, also cats and every animal i saw. My grandparents had a house in the country, and the neighbor has  a lot of  hourses, i never go to touch them, but i like the way they look, and every day  i went to see them. So i think that was the first time i start to love it.  I realiced that animals give you a lot of love, asking anythink in return. So i enter to this career to try help them, who can not speak for themselves, neither cry when they're suffering, and to give them the same love and happines they give it to me when i was little.
The road is difficult, a lot of stress,
sleeplessness,etc... but in the end , i know that would help me to be a good veterinarian.
See you later friends. Bye!
